Our Mission

The Mission of Turning Point Ministries (TPM) Church is to develop believers into mature Disciples of Christ so that we know how to effectively witness to unbelievers. As a mature believer each member will have an accurate understanding of God’s word and be able to discern truth from error. The Mission is based on the ministry and work of Jesus Christ according to St. Luke 4:18-19. In an effort for Turning Point Ministries Church to fulfill its mission each member will know their gift and calling for service within this local body of believers.

Our Vision

Turning Point Ministries (TPM) Church will systematically teach believers and unbelievers fundamental principles and truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will be taught the Ministry of Reconciliation, which includes how we are redeemed, repentant, forgiven, justified, regenerated, sanctified and how we have become sons of God through adoption. We will learn that this spiritual process took place at the moment we were “born again” and how this is necessary to restore relationship and fellowship between God and man. The believer will be taught instructions in righteousness, how to pray, praise and worship the Lord. This will be accomplished through teachings and fellowship. We will be taught other biblical principles and truths that Christians live by on a daily basis.

Statement of Faith
(What We believe)

We Believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative word of God.
(II Timothy 3:15-17)

We Believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19; I John 5:7)

We Believe in the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the church at Christ’s coming.
(I Corinthians 15:51-53, I Thessalonians 4:17; Titus 2:13)

We Believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (Romans 10:9-10)

We Believe that the regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
(St. John 3:5-6; Acts 19:1-6)

We Believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Psalms 103:3; James 5:14-15; Isaiah 53:5)

We Believe the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 is given to the believers who ask for Him.

We Believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Holy life. (Romans 12:1-2; II Timothy 2:21)
